I can remember going to the festival here back in 1976. It was one of my greatest memories when Charlie Moore and the Dixie Partners took the stage (Awesome)

I see some pictures. Disregard my e-mailed comment, but more photos would be fun to look at. :O)

My name is Jim Priest, son of Don E. Priest and Jean A. Priest (Pine river Valley Boys) I am very pleased to see the festival grounds are still going strong! I was fortunate to be involved in the 1st bluegrass festival back in the late 70s I can remember going with my dad to meet with George and decide where to put the stage. I have been to many of the festivals as a child, I vividy remember sitting on Larry Sparks' lap as he and my dad talked. Does Chris Nagel still bring his Lemonade wagon? ha! good memories. I need to get back there

The Bluegrass Festival has been an important part of my adult life. The memories and friends I have made will be with me forever. Thank you for creating such a wonderful event.
