Think of the Salt River Bluegrass Festival as an intimate Festival. It's every bit the jam-band paradise as the larger events, yet the crowds are vastly more like family and the setting -- is downright magical. This year's camping and music festival features a rather impressive line-up of artists including, Most fans camp right on-site, which means it's an short walk back to the sleeping bag after watching the music under the starlit night. But, really, who bothers to sleep at this festival? Salt Rivers late-night shows, which often stretch into the early morning, are the stuff of legends. As several fans have told us; Salt River is one of the most magical places on Earth. It's a mystery to us why this wonderful event isn't routinely listed alongside other huge festivals. The lineup is usually as good -- if not better -- than those gaining national acclaim. Today’s stars have already graced the stage at Salt River and we are very proud that we have had the honor of hosting them on their rise to Bluegrass stardom. This year we are hosting, Mike Lilly ~ Wendy Miller & The Country Grass, Bluegrass 101, Blue Mafia, Full House, Larry Efaw, The Clark Brothers, Wildwood Valley Boys, The David Thom Band, Don Rigsby, Lonesome Will Mullins, and Flamekeeper. Flamekeeper includes possibly the most popular individual performer to ever step foot on the stage at Salt River Acres, Charlie Lawson. The talented group of musicians we will be hosting at this year’s event might very well be the artists winning the prizes at next year’s awards ceremonies. Just think, you will be able to say "I saw them when....".
